What the site is

Pregled News is an index of headlines. It shows publishers' headlines from their public RSS feeds, groups them into stories and links to the originals at the publishers. We do not write, edit or republish articles. Every headline shows the publisher's name, the publication time and a link to the original.

Copyright and press publishers' rights

The publishers' content belongs to the publishers and their authors. Hyperlinks and the use of individual words or very short extracts are excluded from the rights of press publishers (Bulgarian Copyright and Related Rights Act, Article 90d(2)(1)(c) and (d); Article 15 of Directive (EU) 2019/790).

We show a short plain-text excerpt (up to 200 characters) only from publishers whose published terms explicitly allow it; the exact wording of each permission is recorded with us, and the basis for each publisher is on the sources page. We never store or show the full text of articles.

Photos

We show photos only from publishers whose terms for their RSS feeds explicitly include the photo; which ones, and on what basis, is on the page Sources. The photo comes from the publisher's feed, is loaded through our server and always carries the credit “Photo: <publisher>”. The rights in the photos stay with the publishers and their authors.

Removal requests

If you are a publisher or author and want us to stop showing your headlines, excerpts or photos, or you spot a mistake, write to b.marinov.dev@gmail.com and name the publication and, for a particular item, its link. We will reply within 7 days. At a publisher's request we stop showing that source.

Pages update automatically. Photos that were already loaded may, however, stay in the hosting provider's delivery-network cache for up to 8 days after the stop, unless we purge the cache sooner.

Artificial intelligence

Summaries and the answers on Ask are generated by Google Gemini only when you request them, and only from the headlines and permitted excerpts stored here. They are labelled as AI-generated, are not checked by a person and may contain mistakes; check the sources. Grouping, categories and the ranking of stories use no AI.

Third-party content

Headlines, excerpts and photos belong to the publishers and are shown as they appear in their feeds. We give no warranty for their accuracy or for the content of the sites we link to. Grouping and categories are decided automatically and are sometimes wrong.
